Exceptional
Beautiful, sprawling hotel in a great setting, the ski run literally running to the door. Felt very spacious with a great mix of traditional and modern decor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were a suite with double attached, both very clean, comfy and had all facilities we needed. Transfer to and from the train station was seamless. Would love to return.
Strange that the gym didn't open until 9.00 and breakfast finished at 10.00 so if you want a workout and shower before breakfast, tough. The bowling alley was also closed the night we were there which was a shame.

Large family hotel with lovely communal areas, great food and helpful friendly staff
Gorgeous communal areas. There were beautiful Norwegian antiques and art everywhere which made it feel very special. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast was a huge buffet with lots of choice. Reception team were fantastic and helped us organise activities and pick ups from the station
Bedrooms a bit basic. No kettle, beds were two singles pushed together, no fridge. It’s a huge hotel with lots of children and teenagers so maybe better for families. The swimming pool ladder was broken, there were tiles missing and there was a lot of hair in the pool which is why I have marked down on cleanliness
